Summer Festival (2023) (2024)

The Summer Festival (2023) was a four-week event in Adopt Me! that began on June 15, 2023. It brought new seasonal pets, pet accessories, toys, and vehicles into the game.

New items and updates to the Summer Festival were added every Thursday. In the first week of this event, four seasonal pets were available alongside other items in the Summer Shop. There were a total of three minigames.

Minigames[]

Minigames were ways for players to earn the event currency, Beach Balls. There were three minigames in this event, with one being introduced during each week for the first three weeks. For the last week of the event, players will be able to earn 20% more Beach Balls than they were to receive regularly. The maximum amount of Beach Balls that players could earn from all minigames depended on their placing. Regularly, 1st place could get up to 3,300, 2nd place could get up to 3,150, 3rd place could get up to 2,900, and 4th place or lower could get up to 2,650.

Scooting Stars[]

In the "Scooting Stars" minigame, players rode around on a Water Scooter to collect as many stars as possible in 1 minute. They had to avoid NPCs that would knock the player back if touched. The amount of stars earned and a player's placement determined the number of Beach Balls earned at the end of the minigame. Players get 1,650 for playing the minigame, with each star worth 100.

Crabby Grabby[]

In the "Crabby Grabby" minigame, players were split into one of the four teams; Blue, Red, Yellow, or Pink. The objective of the minigame is to try to throw as many crabs into a crab net as possible within a minute. The crabs are skittish and try to flee from players. Each red crab is worth 40 points, while the rarer and faster Golden crabs are worth 200 points. Players can only carry at most three crabs at once. The team with the most points at the end wins. Players receive 1,650 for playing, and 1 for each point their team scores. The maximum amount of Beach Balls that players could earn from this minigame depended on their placing and is the same as Scooting Stars.

Ice Cream Frenzy[]

In the "Ice Cream Frenzy" minigame, players were split into four teams and had to complete ice cream orders from NPCs within the time they were given. In the minigame, players must choose from a variety of scoop flavors, sauces, and toppings for the orders. If the players completed the ice cream that was ordered, a message bubble will appear on their head that says "All done! I should deliver this," telling the players to deliver the ice cream. If they get it wrong, the message bubble will say "This doesn't seem right, I should start over..." telling players to dispose of the ice cream in the trash bin and start over. Each correctly served ice cream is worth 1 point.

Hermit Crab Box[]

The Hermit Crab Box was released on the event's third week. Players had a chance to obtain the Hermit Crab, Castle Hermit Crab, the Ice Cream Hermit Crab, or the Pirate Hermit Crab.

Trivia[]

• If a player bought a Water Scooter, the color they selected would be the color of their scooter in the minigame "Scooting Stars". Otherwise, it would have been the player’s favorite color, which can be selected in the settings.
• The message that appears over a player's head when they complete the ordered ice cream, or add an unordered ice cream topping, flavor or sauce will not appear in the chat box on the top left of their screen.
• The Summer Festival (2023) ties with the Halloween Event (2023) in being the event to release the most pets ever in Adopt Me! (14).
